POLYESTER VEIL/FABRIC

COMPOSITES SOLUTION offers polyester veil, the most advanced nonwoven fabric, which is produced from continuous polyester filament. A spunbond PET consisting of extruding round continuous filaments onto an endless belt and then bonding with either point bonding or flat thermal bonding.

We are one among very few companies that can provide a fine fiber polyester spunbond. Our product’s quality is accepted worldwide and is utilized not only in important projects in India but also in other significant projects all around the world .

Our products offer special characteristics and wide range of applications as follows :

CHARACTERISTICS :

High Tensile and Tear Strength
In all direction and high elongation to break, even in low basic weight, allowing maximum cost effectiveness.

Porosity
Wide range in porosity of various styles makes it especially suitable for liquid and air filtration uses.

Non-Raveling Edges
This feature makes it easy to die cut and slit without binding the edges

Moisture, Rot and Mildew Resistance
Because of 100% Polyester, it has only about 0.5% moisture pick up at 98% relative humidity. It maintains the physical properties when wet and is dimensionally stable during humidity changes.

Temperature Resistance
It can be readily processed in a variety of applications at temperatures up to 170°C (338°F); with care, up to 200°C (392°F). Temperature above 200°C (392°F) should be avoided unless tests under actual conditions are satisfactory.

Sunlight Resistance
It resists sunlight degradation.

Chemical Resistance
It has excellent resistance to solvents, oils, salt solutions.

Flammability
It is difficult to ignite with a small ignition source. When expose to flame, it tends to melt and shrink away from the heat long before reaching its temperature of 480°C (890°F). it passed FMVSS no.302 standard (US Automotive Safety Standard)

Combustion Toxicity
When completely combusted, it decomposes into water and carbon dioxide
